Art House Sessions: Canvas & Chords

  • Park Theater 723 Warren Street Hudson, New York, 12534 United States (map)

Step into an immersive evening where music and visual art unfold together in real time. Canvas & Chords brings audiences into the creative process as live painting and live music share the stage, transforming the theater into a living studio of sound, color, and movement.

This month will feature music by Tony Kieraldo on keyboards and Agam Newman as our live painter.

Tony Kieraldo is a Postmodern Jukebox pianist known for his dynamic, vintage-inspired style, with performances at Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House, the London Palladium, and top venues worldwide. His recordings, including Hudson Ragtime Piano Suite, inspired by the city of Hudson, NY, and Golden Keys (his ragtime take on the music of James Bond), showcase a thrilling mix of jazz, ragtime, and cinematic storytelling.

Agam Neiman trained with Gammel student Paul Ingbretson in the Boston School approach to classical realism in New Hampshire. Seeking to integrate a traditional approach with contemporary subjects and methods, he trained with renowned illustrator Greg Manchess before moving to Montreal where he studied at the Atelier de Bresoles and shifted his practice into the production of plein air urban nocturnes before delving further into portraiture. He has since attended two residencies at the Maison de Chapitres in Southern France before relocating to the Hudson Valley where he maintains his studio practice.

Join us for a night of creative dialogue, spontaneous expression, and the powerful intersection of art and music.
