Across the weekend, fifty artists open their studios to the public or displayed their work in stores, galleries, and other alternative spaces. Meet artists and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process.
The majority of spaces are walkable from one another along Warren Street and Cherry Alley, others are a short (and very worthwhile) drive away. Be sure to visit everyone. There is a map and brochure and studio addresses are also listed on each artist page.
In addition to the annual weekend, Hudson Open Studios celebrates artists through year-round programming such as social events, drawing and painting evenings, pop-up gallery shows, creative partnerships, and more. Keep an eye on our Events page for the latest news.

Pauline Decarmo
”My work is based on my surroundings, past and present. I’m motivated by things that move me, thrill me and anger me. I see a vast amount of space and I want to fill it with paint.”

Philip Gebhardt
presented his solo exhibition, "Between Bodies" at Arbor Gallery in Carmel, NY in November 2024, followed by "Beyond Form" in July 2025 at Time & Space Limited in Hudson. Philip currently works out of his studio in Hudson, where he not only creates but also curates, using the space as a venue for collaborative and group exhibitions that foster community and dialogue among regional artists.

David Giroux
is an intuitive abstractionist who navigates the canvas with unbridled freedom, harnessing energies within and around him. He uses bold strokes and harmonious blends to explore emotions and subconscious impulses, creating visual symphonies of color, form, and texture.

Tom McGill
has a favorite fork. He likes to take things apart and, to a lesser degree, put them back together. Tom is the artist-in-residence at 46 Green Street Studios and co-owner of Circle 46 Gallery.
