Ifetayo Cobbins grew up in Hudson on and around Allen Street. Ifetayo is an accomplished painter and poet, one who examines the power of black women and viewing things through another lens. She accepts the challenge to share in a way people can understand and while her intent is not to sting, her words scream out, why is no one seeing this? Ifetayo also explores the current climate of Hudson and her experiences with discrimination, her feelings towards the changes on Warren Street, and fears of displacement amongst specific populations.
